noticed that I had "extra" bracket for a JK install. Those brackets not needed for JL were exactly correct thickness to make a spacer by cutting piece off. Again wish I could add photos. But... Rugged Ridge should know that there is a problem and supply a spacer or remanufacture that passenger winch plate support arm bracket. Luckily the bolts supplied were barely long enough with spacer added in. So I used extra loctite. 👍So other than that issue. I like the bumper. Hope that helps someone that experiences same as I did. 👍 Read Less
ly. I was able to place the bumper into the frame holes easily with my wife steadying the left side while I inserted the bolts that are in the bumper from the right side. I secure looseley with one bolt per pair, then took the wifes side and did the same. It didn't take 4-5 minutes to get the bumper into the frame slots, and let he go back inside. That was the only assistance I needed during this isntall. I was careful to check out the factory wiring harness before tightening all the bolts and realized I would have to reroute the harness to the inside of the frame rail. I removed the wire ties, moved the cable connector closer to the wiring harness, tightend the bumper down, figure eighted the extra cable, and wiretied it into place. This is the third time I've put bumpers on Jeeps. This was the best install of the all. My first one was a pure nightmare, this one, was a well engineered process. I am now looking for a skid plate to replace the beautiful, and bullet proof factory skidplate that comes on the Mojave. Read Less
s wasn’t taken into account by rugged ridge. If they would have just mirrored the drivers side bracket it would be perfect. There is a guy on YouTube trying to install this with the same issue and it seems Hachum’s review has the same issue. Read Less

inch fit perfect... but the hole did not line up with the fairlead. The edge of the bumper was higher than the bottom roller (flipped fairlead upside down, then top edge was the issue). Had to grind down the bottom edge so the cable wasnt scraping against the bumper.
Oh ya... nice to have slots for a highlift... but who ever thought that putting them directly under the hooks was out to lunch! A highlift cant reach the holes properly... theyre a cosmetic feature. Read Less
