Trail Access Program

The Rugged Ridge Trail Access Program by RealTruck is for all who wander off the beaten path, whatever travel method they choose. Since our shared lands are used by hikers, bicyclists, trail runners, and motorized vehicles alike, we created this initiative to protect public trail access for everyone.

Fueled by its mission to create, protect and maintain – RealTruck will donate up to $5,000 per organization depending on the needs and scope of the project. Grants are designated for use toward education, stewardship, legal fees, or any other activity advocating the conservation of public and private land, as well as access to recreational trails. The Trail Access Program was first launched at the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Since then, it has awarded over $175,000 in grants to numerous causes, including the Blue Ribbon Coalition; the Colorado Off-Highway Vehicle Coalition (COHVCO); the Colorado Association of 4WD Clubs; Friends of Uwharrie; New Mexico Off-Highway Vehicle Alliance; the Off-Road Business Association; Stay the Trail, and even Del Albright’s Volunteer Leader & Land Stewardship (VLLS) Course, among others.

"Ultimately, our goal is to support the people and organizations working to protect access to public land and recreational trails across the country – improving education about the off-road hobby and matters of conservation – so our open spaces remain that way for generations of off-roaders to enjoy for years to come." – Lee Riser, VP Product Marketing

History of Stewardship - 2013-2024

At RealTruck, our passion for Jeep® vehicles, and the sense of adventure that they inspire, is much more than just a hobby to us; it's a way of life. As a company with brands like RuggedRidge, we hold a strong commitment to help insure that future generations enjoy a brighter tomorrow. By assuming a personal responsibility in several key areas, we strive to influence a positive change that promotes a healthier way of life, assists in the preserving of public land and recreational trails, educates on the ethics of responsible stewardship of the outdoors, and supports the off-road community and their interests.

"At Omix-ADA/RuggedRidge, our passion for Jeeps, and the sense of adventure that they inspire, is much more than just a hobby to us; it's a way of life."

CHARITABLE DONATIONS

As a part of our commitment to a healthier tomorrow, RealTruck has organized, sponsored and participated in numerous fundraising events and projects over the past two decades, donating the proceeds to various charitable organizations like The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, American Diabetes Association, SEMA Cares, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and The Boy Scouts of America.

REALTRUCK, RICHARD PETTY & SEMA CARES

In 2016, RealTruck (and Omix-Ada) partnered with legendary NASCAR driver and car owner Richard Petty to build a one-of-a-kind Jeep Wrangler JK to be unveiled at the SEMA 2016 Show in Las Vegas. The build was performed in cooperation with SEMA Cares, an organization comprised of members of the SEMA community and whose focus is on making a difference in the lives of others. With the finished product slated to be auctioned off in early 2017, all the proceeds from the auction tapped to benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp in Randleman, NC, a camp whose primary purpose is to serve the needs of terminally ill children and inspired by Petty’s grandson, Adam, who was tragically lost in a racing accident in 2000.

"It is an honor to continue building a partnership with SEMA Cares. With their support, we are able to fulfill our mission to serve children with serious medical conditions. Since 2004, donations have totaled more than $750,000 and we are grateful for the generosity of those within the industry that give back!" – Chad Coltrane, Victory Junction, CE
